Home Makeover
With a Community All Things Are Possible...
Together, with
the right hearts, we can create a memory that will last more than a life time
for Dave and his family. As a Community with all of our different strengths, we
can help their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Before the home makover, Dave was living in the 1st floor family living room without the proper accommodations for his handicap. This caused a tremendous hardship for the entire Mello family. Our goal was to improve this situation by expanding the first floor.
We are excited to announce that the
addition for the Mello family home makeover has been completed! The renovation
included:
- A new kitchen
- A nurse's station
- Accessible Bathroom
- Electrical accommodations crucial for supporting the medical equipment
- General medical equipment for daily living
We are truly grateful for the support of all involved and plan to continue our efforts with the Run for Dave. Much more can be accomplished. Our next goals include acquiring additional treatment related services including, respiratory equipment, accessibility devices for computers and other various medical necessities.
