The Course
Race Route
The course we have chosen for this 5.3-mile race
will run through the historic Padanaram section of Dartmouth,
Massachusetts. Runners will be able to enjoy the scenery of this
picturesque community as they run along a course set with tree-lined
neighborhoods, rural scenery, an ocean causeway and the Padanaram Bridge. In
Buzzards Bay, and only 5 miles west of "The Whaling City" of New Bedford, it is
a peaceful yet challenging course. And after the race, runners and spectators
can enjoy a variety of Padanaram Village shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Starting at Dartmouth
High School on Bakerville Road, bearing left on to Gulf Hill
Road the course reaches the 2 mile mark at just about the center of the
Padanaram Bridge. The course then turns left onto Water Street and then right on to the short distance up Hill Street and then left on to Elm Street straight through to
another left onto Russells Mills Road all the way back with the last
left turn onto the final stretch of Bakerville Road finishing back at
the High School.
